- I chose South East Essex College as it was the closest college that offered the course I wanted. And, by commuting each day, I saved a lot of money.
- What course did you study and what have you achieved?
- I studied for a degree in TV and Screen Media. I am now working as an editor for a media company.
- How did your time at South East Essex College help you prepare for ‘real life’?
- South East Essex College helped me to develop the skills I needed to work on my own. I became more self-reliant and, by taking up ‘extra-curricular’ activities, I met people already in the industry and built up a great list of contacts.
- What would you say to someone thinking of studying in Southend?
- People thinking of coming to South East Essex College should make the most of it. Regardless of all the college can offer you, you need to make sure you grab every opportunity with both hands. Make the most of all the facilities and equipment on offer and take your learning to the next level.
